Shirt Redo for summer

I just love summer and as I was going thew my clothes I found some long sleeved shirts that I really didn't wear all that much. So I decieded to turn them in to summer tanks.

       1. all you need is a long sleeve button up shirt, I buttoned it up all the way then laid it out flat .
       2. Then I cut just below the neck line of the shirt and I cut the sleeves leaving the serged edg so I didnt have to finish the arm holes. Save the sleeves
       3. I turned it inside out and at the top of the shirt I folded it using an iron twice about 1 inch then sewed at straight line this will make a place to put the ties threw.
      4. With the sleeves I cut them open and made strips about 3to4 inchs wide for the ties ,take them over to the iron and iron them in half and in half again then sew a straight line down them.
    5. use a safety pin at the end of your tie and thread it thre the top of the shirt then put it on and tie and your done . It only takes about 1 hour to do

Hope you enjoy this it was so easy , fast, & fun for the summer
