My husband thought i was crazy but i did it any way. I wanted my cabinet and mantel to look old because our home it decorated western, so i sanded them them took a hammer and beat them up a little also using other objects like a screw to leave marks , then we took a torch and burned them a little then lightly sanded them again .Finished them off by varnishing them and here you go they look old I just love them.
